1   You work with the owner of the company: From the first meeting with the architect or designer, Terry will be a part of your project. Often times, he serves as the project manager that monitors and executes the job onsite, at your home. He’s your familiar face every step of the way.

Perkins is a remodeler that understands the client experience: Terry personally has lived and breathed the remodeling process with his own family, so he understands first-hand how a remodel can affect a household. Be assured that everything we do, the owner is our number one priority.
     
3   100% Satisfaction Rate: The majority of our clients have lived in the home during the remodeling process. That being said, in 2006, based on the Guild Quality survey, similar to a J.D. Power award, we received a 100% satisfaction rate!
     
4   Sticking to the schedule: When we schedule out a job, we understand that there is no such thing as a perfect remodel process; things will happen that will affect the completion date. That’s why we make sure to account for changes, and we keep our clients in the loop with regular updates. From the time he was four years old, he has been on work sites, learning from his father who was a contractor. Starting his own remodeling business in 1988, Terry G. 7   When you do your walk-through, you can expect the project to be perfect, or we fix it: We use a Zero Punch List system, meaning that by the time you walk through the project, there should be nothing that needs to be fixed or touched up. We make progressive adjustments over the course of the job, addressing things that need fixing when we spot them. That way, the homeowner doesn’t have to go through the hassle of creating a checklist of to-dos. When the remodel job is complete, all there is left to do is enjoy the home!
     
8   Availability and Responsiveness: We understand how important it is to be available to our clients. Terry G. Perkins' staff gives all of our clients his cell phone and business number, even taking calls in the dead of night if an emergency arises. When you call we’ll be responsive to your needs.
     
9   You’ll know how much things cost: Terry G. Perkins believes in fixed prices and detailed specifications when constructing the scope of work and the contract. If changes are made, they are detailed and priced separately, so you’ll always know what you’re paying.
     
10   We build beautiful: As a general rule, Terry G. Perkins builds for consistency, making sure the work we do matches perfectly with the existing home and the vision or style you are expecting. The owner is always right; our job is to help ensure that aesthetically, the finished product is something you’re going to love.
     
11   Warranty: Terry G. Perkins provides an exceptional 2 + 5 + 10 year warranty on everything dealing with the remodel, from craftsmanship to the products that we use. We go above and beyond the norm. Here are the details.
  • Items that local and state regulations require a one year warranty for, including all labor and materials, Terry G. Perkins warrants for two years.
  • Doors, door hardware, windows, and exterior finishes we warrant for five years.
  • Terry G. Perkins warrants against structural defects for ten years.
  • Any warranty work is inspected within 24 hours of the initial request.
  • Our Zero Punch list system ensures that at completion, the client is 100% satisfied with our work. We don’t leave until our clients are happy.
  • We will contact you periodically to schedule an inspection of our work to see if any warranty issues have occurred.
  • If at any time you find a problem with our work, please contact us. We will be more than happy to come out and inspect the problem. In some cases, we may fix construction related problems at no charge, even for items no longer warranted.
